ENTECH Takes Compliance Seriously

ENTECH has always taken compliance and quality of its services seriously. Quality in health care technology management is a service that has a direct and indirect impact on our communities. Directly, ENTECH applies its culture of quality when servicing a customer’s medical equipment, and indirectly, this impacts the quality of service our patients receive when utilizing medical equipment. Our customers know that when ENTECH performs repairs and maintenance, the job gets done with a superior focus on compliance and quality.
 
ENTECH services over 251,000 medical devices in the states it services, including Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Nebraska, Wyoming and California. ENTECH owns a variety of high end testing tools and our technicians are trained (factory and on-the-job) to ensure all medical equipment is safe and reliable for patient care. From diagnostic imaging equipment, sterilization, diagnostic ultrasound, infusion pumps, ophthalmology, surgical devices and the whole spectrum of medical equipment down to diagnostic thermometry. This makes our services extremely unique and very comprehensive in the Clinical Engineering service world today.
 
Today’s healthcare technology service is evolving quickly. With the advancement of state-of-the-art healthcare technologies and application of a vast array of system dependencies to create efficient clinical workflows and improve clinical outcomes, ENTECH too is embarking on a journey in 2019 that will allow us to stay at the top of our game.
 
This new journey focuses on the principles of quality management systems and ensures customer success more than ever. Dashboards showcasing ENTECH’s quality of services will be a priority. This will not only help us measure our services, but also showcase the value we bring to our customers. ENTECH will focus on more than simply preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) numbers. ENTECH leadership recognizes that it takes more than a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to accurately reflect ENTECH’s services to its customers. In pursuit of that goal, ENTECH recently hired Priyanka Upendra as its new Compliance Program Director. Priyanka comes to us with years of quality and compliance experience in clinical engineering and information technology. She holds a Master’s in Engineering and is pursuing a Doctorate of Healthcare Administration. She served at Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Health in Palo Alto, California and most recently was the CE Compliance Manager at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, Utah. And now we are happy to have her as part of our ENTECH team as the Compliance Program Director. ENTECH leadership has also hired a new Biomedical Supervisor, Jack Smiley. Jack brings more than 25 years of biomedical engineering experience to the team with a focus on quality of service.
 
With what lies ahead in 2019, ENTECH will continue, as it has in the past, to focus on ensuring superior quality customer service and to grow in a collaborative way.

Jack Smiley
ENTECH is excited to announce its new Biomedical Service Supervisor, Jack Smiley. He started at ENTECH in mid-October and is based out of our Chandler, Arizona office. He was most recently a Clinical Engineering Director in California and has over 25 years experience in clinical engineering. His expertise is in policy and regulatory compliance. He is a good resource for customers with any with questions or concerns regarding policy/regulatory compliance issues. He is planning to visit many ENTECH customer sites to learn how we can optimize our service model. His phone number is 480-625-2427. For non-urgent, routine service calls, you may submit a service request via ENTECH’s website. Click here to access the Service Request Form. Once the work order is entered and dispatched, a customer service representative will email you with the work order number for your reference.

Custom Ultrasonics – authorized service provider

Custom Ultrasonics designs, manufactures and distributes automated systems to clean and high-level disinfect complex devices including multi-channeled flexible endoscopes. Wherever endoscopy procedures are performed and endoscopic instrumentation require cleaning and high-level disinfection, you can find Custom Ultrasonics equipment.

Midmark Products, manufacturer of a wide range of medical and healthcare products, including Ritter automatic sterilizers, power procedure tables and chairs, exam tables, lights, workstations and EKG machines.
